STAIN-PROOF® Premium Impregnating Sealer is an advanced penetrating natural stone sealer engineered to protect porous stone surfaces from staining agents such as oil, water, and everyday contaminants. Ideal for marble, limestone, travertine, and decorative stone mosaics, this premium impregnating sealer penetrates deep into the stone’s pore structure to create long lasting stain protection.
Unlike topical coatings that sit on the surface, this premium natural stone sealer works within the stone itself. The penetrating formula allows the stone to remain breathable while dramatically reducing the absorption of liquids that can lead to staining or discoloration.
Sealing natural stone is an essential step for maintaining marble mosaics, limestone backsplashes, and stone shower installations. STAIN-PROOF Premium Impregnating Sealer helps preserve the natural appearance, color, and texture of stone surfaces while extending the life of the installation.

HOW TO USE
Proper sealing is essential to protect natural stone mosaics from staining and moisture absorption.
SURFACE PREPARATION
- Ensure the stone surface is clean, dry, and free of residue before applying the sealer.
- Always test the sealer in an inconspicuous area first to confirm the desired results.
APPLICATION
- Apply the sealer evenly using a lamb’s wool applicator, clean cloth, brush, or low-pressure
sprayer. - Generously coat the surface so the stone appears briefly wet for several seconds, allowing the
sealer to penetrate into the pores. - Wait approximately 10 minutes, then apply a second coat before the first coat dries.
- After the final coat, wipe and polish the surface with a clean dry cloth to remove excess sealer.
NEW INSTALLATIONS
For newly installed stone:
- Apply one coat prior to grouting to help prevent grout haze.
- After grout has cured (typically 24 hours), apply a second coat to the stone and grout joints for full protection.
The sealer penetrates the stone and forms a breathable barrier that helps repel water, oil, and common
household stains while maintaining the natural appearance of the stone surface.
